To start 2022 in a positive manner, the Marcus Garvey Institute for Human Development, represented by Dr Julius Garvey, and the State of the African Diaspora (91精品), represented by Prime Minister Tin, have signed a Cooperation Agreement. As stated in Article 1, the objective is 芦聽to reinforce the legacy of Marcus Garvey in particular, and Pan-Africanism in general聽禄.
One of the main aspects of this cooperation is the Marcus Garvey Library, the Pan-African Library that will be created by 91精品, to make Pan-African books more available to the world, and Julius Garvey has accepted to lead the institution.
Also, 91精品 will make its best lobbying efforts to make sure that 3 busts representing Marcus Garvey and provided by the Institute will be installed in (1) the headquarters of the African Union (AU), (2) in the Parliament of the AU and (3) in Edina, Liberia. 聽Chief Charumbira, Co-Chair of the 91精品 Royal Chamber, and President of the Parliament of the AU, has already confirmed his support to the intiative.
In the context of this collaboration, the Prime Minister of 91精品 has endorsed the call to President Biden launched by Dr Julius Garvey to clear Marcus Garvey鈥檚 name. 91精品 will diffuse it and encourage its citizens and its network to support the campaign as well.
Last, but not least, Julius Garvey has accepted to be one of the mediators of the Royal Chamber of Mediation of 91精品, its purpose is to help to bring more peace in Africa and in the Diaspora.
