I am Samuel Wilson, Minister of Foreign Affairs, born in Trinidad and Tobago, Christian, Husband and father. Actively involved in Health Safety Security and Environment, International Business Development, Project Management, Construction Management and Diplomacy.聽 I have served on international boards and as President / Vice President of several US corporations.
Question 2 :- What is your vision of Panafricanism ?
Pan-Africanism is the coming together of people, ideas, opportunities, tradition for the common good of the African Continent and the Diaspora. Each building on each other’s strengths to the benefit of our people. In unity there is strength!
Question 3 :-聽Who is your favourite character in Panafrican history, and why?
Cyril Lionel Robert James a Trinidadian historian, journalist, Trotskyist activist and Marxist writer. His works are influential in various theoretical, social, and historiographical contexts. James had begun to campaign for the independence of the West Indies while in Trinidad. He became a champion of Pan-Africanism, and was named Chair of the International African Friends of Abyssinia, later renamed the International African Friends of Ethiopia (IAFE).
Question 4聽 :-聽 With the onset of technology and investment in Africa, how do you see Africa in the 21st Century ?
With the onset of technology and investment in Africa in the 21st Century should provide growth and development. We are in a space where we are a global village and the return to our ancestral home. The cradle possesses the rare earth metals, gold, diamonds, innovation, oil & gas, which provide real opportunities for sustainable development and investment.
